Hi there all. I just wanted to tell you all that I ended up buying an electrolysis machine started doing my own face. It took a lot of time to figure out how to do it but dam the results are worth it and it has to save a ton of money!

For me I got a comfy chair. A magnifying light. A magnifying mirror (about four inches in diameter) that has suctions cups on the back. I place the magnifying light pointing at my face and stick the mirror in the middle of the light.

Something to consider. You can find a good used pro machine on ebay at times.

which machine did you buy? I've always though of buying one and getting together with some trans friends for electrolysis parties.

Phew, good luck with it, hope it works out for you. But speaking from my esthetician's perspective, its going to be a very difficult task to undertake. She is a trans lady, works almost exclusively with trans people and tried to do her own electrolysis. She couldn't do it in any reasonable amount of time. Good luck trying to get your spouse to attempt it either. Its an arduous, time consuming and draining task.

Oh dear, I don't think I'd ever let anyone not experienced and trained touch my face again. The first esthetician I went to gave me burns.

I brought an Apilus Junior. It is an older machine but it is computer controlled and has both Galvanic and RF. I see some of the Apilus machines on ebay on occasion but they are usually over 1000 dollars. Of course the new models are at least 2000 dollars.

Ha well the first week I did do some burns. But hey when your trans you do whatever it takes to reach a goal. My story is a bit backwards since I have done everything years ago I just decided to finish my face. As I said I got laser years ago and that took care of a lot of the hair. What I have is a line on my neck (that a friend is doing), and around my mouth.

After some serious hours over a couple weeks I have completely cleared my face of hair. Now I have to wait for the next cycle. Of course I probably missed with the probe on some of the hairs so I will be doing them again but I have gotten better at it. The counter on the machine has registerd well over 2000 hairs I have fried.
