Funny Experience today

OK I'll relate a happening that occurred today. I was going to a seminar and I recognised the speakers name as a name of a student who was in my school. It was an unusual name, I was schooled in the UK and of course I'm in Oz. The talk was on education practice for medical students and the guy was presented as a leading expert in the area from the UK.

I recognised him!

So after the talk I went up and asked if he remembered me and that I was in the same class in 6th Form School. He blinked, it was after an all male school !

I said I used to be known as Male Name, I'm now known as Cindy etc.

His reaction was priceless. Confusion, memory, more confusion, shock. I just stood and smiled sweetly!

Made my day!!!!

Ye outed myself but Hell's Bells, I'm proud of being me; none of us have anything to be ashamed of.
