Vitiligo and hair removal

Can a person with vitiligo (patches of skin with no pigment), receive laser or electrolosys? I'm hoping the person who performs the procedure should know but it is a funky disease.

I haven't had any spreading in about 10 years and can live with blotches on my body, just not my face.
