CHRISTIAN lawyers want to join a case filed by a woman seeking a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education national examination certificate that reflect her new gender. The Kenya Christian Lawyers Fellowship said Audrey Mbugua's case will have an impact on legal practice in the country...

Audrey who was born Andrew Mbugua sued Kenya National Examination Council. In her suit papers she says her KCSE certificate bears a different gender and name making it difficult for her to get a job. Audrey says this is a violation of her rights. She wrote her KCSE exams as a man and was given her certificate in 2001.
