I seem to be the minority in that most of the people in the gay community I have heard from seem to think that straight transsexuals are only pretending to be transsexual so that they don't have to be gay and that they don't understand why lesbian transsexuals would change when it would be easier to be with a girl if they stayed a man.  Maybe I've only met self hating gay people since they all seem to think being gay is bad.

no! I meet these people all the time - I get told I can't be a lesbian all the time - "if you wanted to date womyn why didn't you just say a man" I say "dang it If I was a man I would be one!"
