Hey I'm Aurora,

I'm 29 finally learned to except that I am who I am. I've wanted to be a woman since forever but over compensated with manly things, Jobs, cars, interests. As a result I feel like I could never get close to peeps. Well now I'm in the beginning of my journey. I have my first appointment with the Therapist who specializes in GID next week. I'm wanting to get things on the road. But I'd love get to know as many people like myself that I can. Any advice or words of wisdom are always welcomed. Thanks for reading. :)

Sincerely,
Aurora

Welcome to the place where we can be ourselves.

Advice is

Hold on thight this is going to be a bumpy ride.
Never put the cart in front of the horse. Once you let the girl out you can never put her back, no matter how hard you try.
Always be true to yourself and do not let others try to over shadow who you are.

Wish you luck on this path you are about to walk.

Hi Aurora, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 6958. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.
