Walter White was a chemistry high school teacher. He has a wife (Skylar) and  son that's (Walter Jr.) handicapped. His brother in-law is a DEA agent (Hank); his wife is Skylar's sisters (Marie). He finds out he has developed inoperable lung cancer and is given five years to live. He becomes intrigued when Hank mentions that he busted methamphetamine lab and in the process recovered a lot of money. Upon tagging a long with Hang on a bust, Walter catches one of his students escape. Walter then confronts this student (Jesse) and gives him an ultimatum to become his partner or be turned in. Walter and Jesse then establish a crystal meth business, and the series develops from there.

If you haven't watched the preceding five seasons, don't watch the premiere. But you sound like you did OP. Oh goad, I have so much to say but I don't want to spoil it. I have loveloveloved this show since it came out in 2008. It was so great. It is so great. Plus Jesse is so so hot. Fo realz.

Clever word play, Joanna Dark  . I watched the episode earlier; it was intense and great. I am no sure how I feel with the 'future' scenes though. I didn't want him to give up either, but that happen last year.
