I really don't like my face at all. Admittedly I look much better when properly done up with makeup and things, but this is me too and feels more...honest, I guess. I really hate my jaw  :-\. It's just so...big and clunky. I look like someone's stuck girly eyes on Frankenstein.

Better pic, back at my uni prom. I've got MUCH long hair now (goes down at least to my shoulders)

My profile photo, from the last last time I wore a wig...

I'd say really passable. You're not my type so I wouldn't look after you but I would recognize you as female (even if we'd interact - given that your voice isn't super deep).

I'd say with some makeup (doesn't need to be too much) and a nice haircut you'll be passable. I totally like your hair.

I don't like it; your hands shout male in that pic. But since you most certainly didn't try to pass back then, that's not so relevant.

One year removing facial hair, learning how to do makeup, on HRT since 3 months ago... It's true that I did not start to truly work till I started living on my own back in April. My manly features keep haunting me when I look too much, despite being told that with a bit of FFS retouching it would be enough.

Nice face and jawline, very feminine appearance. You will need brow and nose work to be fabulous.

Thanks for the comments ladies, your all so nice :) !!!

Its definitely nice to get positive feedback . . . I was so scared walking around the mall! :/

I agree that i will have to work on my posture and stuff, i still feel as though my mannerisms are pretty masculine, hopefully that will change with time!! and hopefully when i start HRT i will gain more confidence!!!!

xx

HRT will have its way with Your mannerisms too ;)

Most male behavior and mannerisms are learned and become ingrained, It can be unlearned and female mannerisms will eventually become rote, meanwhile a small amount of male behavior is testosterone driven, that will no doubt change in time too.

I don't think your jaw is that bad, that pic kinda reminds me of Drew Barrymore.

Yeah... you're right. That's totally Drew Berrymore. Kinda hottie, right?

Yeah and aren't those Anne Hathaway lips? She would probably like to be seen as herself, but these are nice attributes and we have to admit that she is potentially rather pretty as Alaia!

I truly think you'd do wonderful! You have a very femme face now. The jaw isn't that bad at all though understand the feeling I often feel the same way about mine. I also think yours looks quite like mine and hrt definitely did a lot!

Yeah you're pretty femme in that prom pic windy1234. I'm not sure if you pass as female in it, but you will certainly pass as female on HRT. No doubt.

BTW, nice avatar Michelle. You look so so pretty but maybe it's just that cute baby next to you JK lol

So this is me before coming out. I'm the one on the left:

This is me still pre-everything with a wig and some fem clothes:

I know I need to get rid of the beard and I am putting the money away for that. I also need to get into learning to do make up as I have no make or any idea of how to apply it yet.

Outside of that what are you thoughts?

The first thing I noted - You DO have very nice and long legs ;).
Apart of that, shaving definitely makes difference. The overall impression from Your face is actually quite soft. I cant figure out what is the case of brow bossing - lighting is not the most perfect, but I know I suck at making photos so I cant be a judge here anyway. HRT is going to change Your cheeks and stretch the skin a bit. Then, in one picture it looks like You have a masculine nose, yet in Your front shot it is somehow balanced by other facial features - You are reminding me some kind of person - female person - but I can remember who was it.

I was unable to enlarge the photos, but from what I can see you look an awful lot like the girl in your avatar so I'm seeing a girl there and I don't think you are the least bit disappointing, so you'll probably do just fine!

The bottom picture emphasizes your androgyny.  The facial hair/shadow is a "tell".  The midline hair part also says male.

The top picture looks decidedly more female to me.  The jaw doesn't seem to me to be a problem, face on.

I don't think the mountain man in the top left is even related to the girl in the other pictures.  Good starting place.  Clearer pics might help, but camera phones only do so much.
