Thanks for the explanation, that's a very interesting story on how you chose your name.  The Russians should be honored!

Oh, and when I mentioned sadness, I was actually thinking about it from my perspective.  A girl as pretty as you are is waaaay out of my league.  There's no sadness at all in those photos! ;)

;) You really know how to make me blush! :) You are such a sweetheart. You may think that a certain girl is out of your league, but remember you can't judge a book by it's cover. She might be out of your league, you never know. :)

When ever I am dress, I feel like a woman who is like a woman, and not as a woman stuck in a mans life. So the only sadness you will see from me is when I have to go about my life as a guy when I get undressed and take the makeup off.

As for the name, before I wanted My name to be Aubrey Nichole H, but that was a long time ago.

Well, both are good names, so it works out either way.  Thank you for the kind words. ;)

I was trying to set up my webcam tonight to talk to someone and decided to take a few pics of myself.  I mostly present androgynously (these pictures are how I present normally).  However my spouse tells me I'm starting to move to the female side of androgynous.  I have to admit this is awesome to me and wanted to get your opinions.  I think all I need is a feminine haircut/style, some plucked brows, and makeup/beard shadow cover, and I *might* be able to have a passable look.

Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.

I like the second photo... your look is going to the female realm, without doubt. But it is important to practice full body. Do you have any picture of full body en femme?

Thank you so much for your response!!

Well those pictures are how I currently present (as a male bodied person, albeit purposefully androgynous).  I don't own any female clothing at all so it would be difficult to get a picture "en femme".  I posted because I was just wondering, based on my current look, how much further I'd have to go to really look female.

Been 10 month on HRT, i'm 21 btw.

Very cute.  The hair is a little much for my liking but if that's your style go for it.

Very cute. 21 is a good age! But you totally should style that hair for a photo, it looks like you just fell out of bed  ;D

I think your wife is right and your own personal assessment is about right on Kate. You have a nice shaped face and cute mouth, there is a lot of real positively female stuff there. Stick with it hon, don't be disheartened, you're looking good and will only get better in time under the influence of HRT. You may have a receding hairline so you will eventually want to talk to a hair stylist for suggestions of how to conceal and cover. Like your looks though!

Omfg you are hot  :o. Boymode? I would hit on you in a heartbeat and I am not even remotely into boys.
Thanks :)
Well it s a complicated story why it s boymode. Like I said earlier, some female friend of mine wanted to go to a club to some goth/industrial event with me. And well she kinda picked out the clothes(gave me mostly hers :P) and helped me with makeup and hair. Officially she doesn't know anything about my trans-situation :D . So in the end I kinda said if someone asked, that I was a boy. Which created alot of confusion for some ppl there and some were hesitant to believe it :P . Hearing things like "you don't look like a boy" ,"but you have boobs" or something like that. I used my guy voice, so that was kinda the only gaveaway. And some guy at the restroom also said one of us is wrong here xD. Well this female friend who suggested to go there and go like this, she kinda said a few months ago that " I should have been a girl" when we were both drunk. It d be rly interesting to know what she thinks about me :P

Hehe, chris29, you got read as a girl by that friend of yours ;)
Did I get that right that she dressed you up in HER clothes :P - thats great. :D

That said - goth parties are like that a bit - You not often see so many boys with more makeup than the girls and men wearing skirts and long hair and such ;) - It was my style some time post-op at parties (and I was even a party organizer myself)

Yep, she said I should try these clothes of her and then insisted on me going with these clothes xD
Haha that's kinda true. I think some of them are really hot with their makeup and clothes. It s a shame that society ostrasizes men dressing like that. Meeting new people at goth parties seems to be much more interesting sometimes than at some "normal" party :D

I ache for the need to be 'read' as female, it happens so rarely and its always because Im not close up or im being seen from behind but it always makes me smile for hours afterwards.

Skinny you have soft features which is good but there is a it of glare and you are tilting your head in a oblique profile which while great for killing facial rec applications also makes it a not so good picture.

I'd recommend finding your facial shape, pick a girly hair style based on said shape and shop eBay for a cheap wig or two and give it a test drive. You can find some nice cheap ones for around $20-$40 there. A little make up wouldn't hurt either and if you like andro then that might be your thing anyway. Trut me when I say that make up makes a huge difference in facial appearance.

Outside of that I think with what I can see of your body shape you would be cute in femme.
Thanks. Yeah, plus losing weight should help as well. Goal is 7-8% (maybe 6-7%, will see) of body fat to give my face slim look with more noticeable facial features - to accenuate cheekbones, jaw, etc. I have ectomorph body, a copy of Pejics body, even same height. So, should be not a problem for the rest of my body, not just face. I'm bragging too much, sorry. :)

Thank you for your observations and compliments. This is me in boy mode currently. I am not on hormones because I cannot take them due to excessive clotting. If you remember a few months back, we talked about when you had to go off HRT due to clots. Well I was the person who told you that I can never go on HRT as a result. It sucks, but I make due.

As to my hair, it's all there. It never receded and I have no testosterone to make it worse.

I am thinking I might have to go get my hair professionally cut and style one weekend, then head over to my local MAC for a makeover and color selections so I know what works on my face.  Guess I might have to pick up some clothes then too since I own no female clothing.

I don't have any plans to transition but if I can pass as female on boy mode) then you won't hear any complaints from me.

I recall that conversation Kate, the doc took me off the thinners and the endo put me back on a low dose patch since I normally don't have a clot problem but had done it to myself back then self medicating. Now I'm under an endocrinologist's supervision.

Yes, a good hair stylist will fix you up and you'll be such a doll!

Haha yeah few MtFs would complain bout that.

I am curious though you cannot have HRT (at least not without co-medicating against clotting), but you also have no testosterone (did you have an orchi.?) - isnt that a bit of a medical problem to not have either? As in osteoroporosis etc...

I cannot co-medicate against clotting the blood condition is so absurdly dangerous.  Endrocrinologists (and I've talked to a few) won't touch me with a 10 ft pool.  I had an orchi nearly 13 years ago.  And yes, I am osteopenic at age 33 and taking bone meds.  The ironic thing is, if I could just get on hormones again, it would help with my dysphoria, my back, bones, and my energy levels.

I'm seriously considering just taking a low dose on my own, but I'm really against self medicating.
