I thought i tell how my Coming out went  ;)

Well about ...3ish years ago i told my Girlfriend I was Transgender, we have been dating for about 1 week.... :o
She took it rather well... She took a little time to think it over telling me she still loves me and i should do what makes me happy.. A few years down the road i got married to her  ;D

BTW i was about 28 years old when i started telling everyone.. The next person i told was my Bio"Mom ...And well... That did not go as planed.. :-\
As i sat there thinking to myself how i was going to tell my biggest secret i have kept for over 23 years to my mom i just yelled out...I'M TRANSGENDER!!! ... My mother looks at me with the most puzzled face i have ever seen before  :P .... Sadly  it did not end there, I went on to say how i have felt like a women all myself but i have kept it in all this time... My mother just said a few words.
"So you like dressing as a girl?"..."Do you plan on changing the way you look?" ..."Because i don't think i'm comfortable with that"

Yeah.... So that's how coming out to my Bio"mom went and well.. Even to this day it's not much better.

So two down and a few 100 more to go...  :D  I told my Best friend of 23 years "Again" i was Transgender..Yeah i told him once when we where 12 but some how he forgot... :-\   And well... At first he was cool with it BUT... as i started changing and looking More Female then male... He changed his mind  >:(  And so ended a 23 year friendship  :-\

I told my Sister and Bother Both took it very well and Still to this day Loves me for ME!!!  ;D  Other friends took the news well and stayed my friends and well... Others did not.

But Now i am Much happier with a Awesome family, I have a little Girl who Loves me, A loving Wife, Awesome Friends New and Old. And a Bother and Sister I love so very much.

Your Mum is uncomfortable? That is a bummer. I am sorry to hear. As for losing your friend of 23 years, well, 'So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish'. I am really blissful that your girlfriend accepted, and it is wonderful to know you both got hitched! Also I am happy to hear both your Sister and Brother took it well :]

Thank you.  The relationship part encourages me.  Congradulations on your family....children are wonderful.
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.
