My flight from Europe cost me 1780 euro. Flight back home was in business class. Hotel was about 1000 euro for 5 weeks. Food: breakfast is free, I only ate supper: 250 euro.

So total expenses: approximately 3500 euro.

An SRS normally costs 535,000 Thai Baht.

Thanks for your answer. What was your airport because I live in north France and I can choose Paris or Bruxelles ?

From Brussels to Frankfurt to Bangkok with Lufthansa in economy class
Flight back: Bangkok to Zürich to Brussels with SWISS in business class

Direct flights from Brussels to Bangkok were too expensive. I also recommend to book 6 months in advance in order to keep it cheap.

I would recommend a site like http://www.kayak.com to look around although the cost difference between premium economy and business class isn't much. A mixed economy to and business from as  Laura suggested is a nice compromise.

I'd advise to avoid Thai Airways, the government own it, and unlike most government owned airlines, they have no idea how to properly run an airline. If you can, I'd suggest going with either Singapore, Malaysia, or Cathay Pacific. Not direct flights, however they are excellent airlines. If you prefer to save money and fly in premium economy vs business, Air France from Paris, British through London, and once again, Cathay through Hong Kong, are good choices. Turkish, Emirates, or Etihad may also be goo choices, because they give a good balance of time on the plane per flight if you don't like sitting on the plane for a long time (this should be moot if you're flying in business class, the seats are most excellent on flights of that range)
Of course these are my choices as an airline connoisseur, as someone who doesn't care much about these things. If you need help with flights, I know some tricks and such, and can help out.
Best wishes on SRS :)

Thanks for your advice,

how is the flight? Do you have pain in the vagina? Verily is it takes a rubber ring?

Flight back was bearable. I stayed six weeks in Chonburi. Leaving too soon after your surgery, might affect your comfort. And I was very pleased to fly back in business class.
