Why am I still logged in as a visitor and not a member? and how do I put my picture in my profile?

You need 15 posts to use your picture as an avatar. Your title will depend on your post count as well.

Also how can I get to view peoples profiles, so far it says I'm prohibited?

I believe that is dependent of post count too. ^_^
