I was married for 23 years to a woman. Fathered two children. Always loved women. After 4 months of HRT I'm finding masculine men very attractive. It's been difficult sleeping with women as of late. Like Zoe, I was a straight male and now find myself a straight female.

I'm not sure how common this is either or if I'm just crazy but I feel like maybe my body is a little bit extreme when it comes to my natural hormone levels.  I think I've always had pretty low testosterone and high estrogen for a man just based on certain observations but I seem to feel the effects that many women here describe when going on HRT, just not as extensive and more in a cyclical pattern.  Am I just imagining this or is it likely that I get bursts of estrogen beyond what a normal cismale would get?
Alice Danielle, I don't think it's that odd. I was given a hormone test at 16 after telling my mom for the hundredth time, but my dad for the first, that I was a girl in a boy's body. It was pretty much the opposite of what it should have been, hence, no adam's apple, no male facial characteristics, little facial hair, etc. So it's definitely not impossible, and with TS girls, it seems that it would be much more prevalent than the general population. I see lots of girls on Susan's with female facial features. You'll probably really like HRT, because it may continue your natural hormones. Just my opinion, but I felt right at home from day one on estradiol. Hugs, Mira
These three years have been the best of my entire life
ones I've been able to live without lying
and the only time I've had since the age of twelve
I haven't constantly thought about dying

I'm still early into my transition, but I've always been bi-/pan

That's bi-/pan "sexual" though. Sexually I'm attracted to both men and women, but relationship wise I only date women. I really don't see that changing as I get further into my transition either.

After 4 months of HRT I'm finding masculine men very attractive..

Before HRT was only attracted to women and dated and slept with them..

As HRT progressed and I developed into a woman, I became attracted to men as well. It was almost year and half into HRT did I actually go on a date with a man. It was a favour actually, shame he needed a date for a function. I agreed to go with him and we really hit it off, which them developed into something more. We dated for about 8 months. From the experience, I enjoyed been the female in the relationship, been held in his arms, kissing him, even some sexual action. I enjoyed making myself pretty for him.

This has been my only relationship during hrt, as I wanted to wait until after SRS, but this happened by chance so I went with it... Now I actually have a lesbian kinda interested in me, I am attracted to her, but nothing has happened, we just friends. I am proceeding with caution.

Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I went from asexual to *probably* straight.

I'm a lot more bi-sexual now than I was before. And I don't have an attraction to most women, but still a strong attraction to women.

It's pretty comfortable.
