I've always preferred female doctors anyway, I think because they are gentle and more like moms lol

Plus I've seen some very cute male doctors and well, I'd just be way too self conscious or nervous XD
And yes if you go to a website for LGBTQ centers in your area they should have a "referral" link to LGBTQ friendly doctor's office's. So you'll know going in, even before meeting with the doctor that they are going to treat you as a human being!!
I lucked out with my GP doctor I absolutely adore her. I only have a problem as she is very against ritalin where as I and my therapist have strong opinions that it has helped me tremendously in my well being. At any rate the other thing is, I haven't come out to her about it either, and nervous as well as to what her reaction will be
