Day of workshops for FTMS

BC FTM network presents: a day of workshops for FtMs and their loved
ones to discuss the topics that affect their everyday lives and
relationships.


Date: Saturday, June 23rd, 2007 (10:00am-4:00pm)
Location: Raven Song Community Centre at 2450 Ontario Street
(Wheelchair accessible)
Registration Fee: $40 ( No one will be turned away due to lack of funds)
You must pre-register. No same-day registration.
Fee includes lunch.

The aim of the day is to provide a safe, confidential space for
participants to talk openly about living as a man in transition and
living as a man with a trans history.

Workshops are of interest primarily to those assigned female at birth
who are living as men or considering transitioning to male. There are
also a few workshops and facilitated discussions that will provide
support and peer-support to partners, friends and family of
transsexual men.

Terrific information - thanks much!  One suggestion however, as such sites like this span many geographical locations, announcements about events are more useful if they're a little more specific as to city and Province/State/Country etc.

As is, (from the email address and group name) I'm assuming this is in British Columbia, Canada, and so will be forwarding the info to some FTM friends up there.  They're in Vancouver however, and I don't know from the info if it's actually IN the Vancouver area, and not elsewhere in BC.  It's always good to be clear with such announcements.  ???
