I've search the internet pretty thoroughly, and found little information on this.
I'm fifty five, and been on HRT since May 10/2013. I have lived full time as female for eighteen months (a little bass-akward I know, but it's a long story of thinking I could fix myself.)
As I'm pretty much only attracted to males, I've managed to have a good sex life, and been very orgasmic, without a vagina. I decided some time ago to remain non-op. An Orchi for sure, but I have never felt a great pressing need for a vagina, and my age, the expense, dilation and possible complications, makes me question whether it's worth it, as it will probably go unused.
The craziness of GD, and then starting HRT (which brought my libido to a grinding halt) means I have not had sex for some years. I also often wonder if the desire will ever return, and if so, who's going to find me attractive? Do I care? That however, is not the point of this post.
Is there a surgical option that would rid me of penis/scrotum/testicles, and make an asthetically pleasing, but not nessasarily functional version of external female genitalia? Surely some labia, covering an abbreviated urethra, couldn't be difficult, or as expensive.
Has anyone heard of this? I asked my endo, who has lots of TS experience, and my therapist. Both of them thought it possible, and not even stupid, but had never heard or it being done.
I think some surgeons may have ethical considerations, not wanting to make a non-sexual person, but with informed consent, why not?
Please let me know if any of you have done this, heard of it, or have any other info or insight.
