Well, since the last 9 months or so have been hell for me. My mother passed and now I have no parents, so I found myself just ignoring everything in my life and drowning myself in work since it seemed thats what my bosses wanted me to do.  A month or so ago, I finally just broke and told people a fraction of what I felt which left me transfering to a new department which has been a blessing stress wise. 

Well, I guess it took some of my alone time to realise that I really don't have any friends, I barely have family anymore and I am soo far behind in life by not having a family of my own that I really should find some friends.   Wellll... easier said than done.  I can't really do that locally because of my situation and where I live so decided to show my face here again since I have been a stranger since my mother's cancer took over.

Great to see some of the old folks like Dennis and Nero around and I am sure it will be fun to meet the newer members.  Well, thats it in a nutshell since I don't think I should write a novel.

Sorry about your mom, that's hard.

Friends are an important thing to have, and while it is better to have them in "real life", i find that online friends can be just as cool if not more so.  Glad the internet exists, and especially this place.  It is nice to know that there are other people going, or have gone, through the same things.
