So I just got my emjoi emagine last evening and tried it on my legs. It pulled a lot of very fine hairs out, but it also had a tendency to break a lot of hairs off (on either setting) and leave a lot of stubble that it couldn't then grab. Plus, it would entirely miss some hairs (no matter how often or which direction I went over them) that weren't even flat against the skin. Later, I clipped my armpit hair with electric clippers, then epilated. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as I would have thought considering what I had read, and my armpits are super smooth, yay, but it still did miss a few hairs.
Considering I wanted an epilator for my legs and arms, and it did very poorly on both, I am going to have to return it. I might get a Braun wet and dry kind instead, since that one is a little cheaper, has a light, and might work well enough anyway (and I'll see if I have issues with that one snapping hair rather than pulling it!).
