Go see. There's nothing quite like being face-to-face with someone. It's also chance to "let go" and be yourself with somebody in a safe and accepting environment. And as you get farther along, they can also help with advice on appearance and such too.

Not that over the phone is BAD, mind you... just if given a choice... IMHO meeting with someone is nice

Personally, I don't think I could relax over the phone as it would feel like an interview haha.  I love seeing my therapist as its relaxing and we joke around a lot.

in person... well unless you have established a good relationship and for some reason can't go in person anymore (like move hours away).
