I went to Dr. DiMaggio in June 2012. His price was $18k for forehead reconstruction, rhinoplasty, upper lip lift, and jaw/chin reduction. I paid an additional $2k for a tracheal shave and $4.4k for cheek implants. Not sure if these prices are still accurate though, Argentina is having a lot of inflation, so Amanda (Dr. DiMaggio's coordinator) had mentioned they may need to raise their prices.
Overall, I'm very happy I had FFS. My results with Dr. DiMaggio (visually) turned out better than I had expected. But the surgery was not perfect. The biggest problem was my forehead incision didn't heal well. It's impossible to say if this was the fault of Dr. DiMaggio or just bad luck on my end. I was extremely sick when I had the surgery (I caught a nasty cold on my flight to Argentina), so I'm sure that didn't help matters. Also, my surgery was 10hrs long, so my recovery was very difficult. Unless I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail though, people can't see the stretched out scars... so I'm told I'm crazy for being so bothered by it. Another random problem is my chin still feels weird... like a small piece of cartilage is moving around. Nobody can see it being a problem, but sometimes I can feel it move inside my skin and it feels gross. And lastly, I wish I could just tweak my forehead a little bit. There are a few divots that annoy me, but they're really not that visible. So overall, the results were very good, but no surgery is perfect.
If I had to do it again, I'd strongly consider Dr. Speigel. Being in Argentina alone seriously sucked (in the USA it wouldn't have been so bad). Also, I'd like to go back to see Dr. DiMaggio to discuss my chin (and he offered to revise my forehead incision for free), but the cost and time needed to get back to Argentina is too much.
