Looking for a little advice about my voice.  Heading out to do some work in the yard so the video is done in the porch with no makeup, but a view.

After 62 years it isn't easy to change my voice tone, but I've been able to raise the octave a bit and at times it might pass ok.   I really can't tell by listening to myself. (a little tone deaf?)

Soooo....,what do you think.  And most of all, please be honest.

I gotta say, I saw this thread, clicked on the link, and before the video played my brain did that thing where a million "what ifs" swim through your mind. "What if it's not good... I can't in good conscience lie, but I simply don't have it in my heart to tell the truth if it's bad, I'll have to simply not post, either way I'll feel kinda sucky about it"

Then the video loaded and I was very relieved. It's good, excellent in fact. With more practice it'll probably be even better, but even just at this point, I would not have found it unusual sounding for a 60 year old woman.

So congrats, it's great.  ;D

Thanks hon.  I do appreciate the comment.  And what you said is exactly why I hate asking people about things like this.

Unfortunately yesterday I answered a phone call while in the checkout line at a store.  Without thinking I let my my voice slip during the phone call, and this was only seconds after saying something to a man in line next to me.  So the guy quickly turned towards me again and stared as I tried to fix my voice (while feeling a little stupid).

Oh my, when will I learn.  :)
