A few years ago, when I was at a local Flea Market, a friend had told me to go fix myself, so naturally I went to the ladies room, which was empty. Went in, did my business and left. When I was leaving the Flea Market, I was apprehended by the manager and he asked me if I had used the ladies room, and I told him that I had, and then he asked some other questions. I heard from my friend that he had been repremeded for doing what he had done right at the endrance, which made me feel good. But next time I do that I'm gonna make sure that I have my letter from my therapist so that there won't be any problems.

That's something I worry about every time I "go". I always keep my letter with me.

But this points out I need I've been screaming about. We as transgender people need to do a better job of educating the public why we need to use gender appropriate rest rooms. If we figure people will just "get it" we'll keep having situations like this.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Yeah! I agree with you. Maybe if we started making it a point to congress or the city hall that the cities that we live in need to affiliate the 'transgender community' as well as everybody else, then maybe we might start to get some repect!
