Hey guys!!! I'm new here, and I was wondering where a FTM could shop for jeans? I'm rather curvy... I'd say 5"3/5"4 in height and more than 23+ inches of my waist length. Also, I'm chubby and usually weigh between 135-141 lbs. But, yeah. I'm kinda big sooo... please help thanks!! ;D

Your waist is 23 inches? Mine's 42 and I do just fine buying from Old Navy and Levi's.

Are you talking about womens size 23?

I'm around 133 pounds and I wear a 34 in mens.  Course, that is US sizing.  I wear 9-12 in womans.

Not really chubby at that weight and height (as far as I can tell). I have a 28 inch inseam and can wear boys husky jeans. Some companies make 28 inch inseams for all men's jean sizes (but might not carry in store). American Eagle is good with sizes, imo. A lot of their lengths seem about right.

Okay, if you meant SIZE 23 then we're about the same size and yeah, I've had a heck of a time finding decent pants. I think I wound up buying a 46" at walmart but the thighs are HUGE and the lower legs are tapered instead of straight which I hate. Plus of course I have to roll the cuffs up at least twice because I'm only 5'4", and then the inseam is a foot below my crotch. I know I could have them hemmed but now that I've worn them a couple times, I don't even think they're worth paying to have hemmed. I've gone back to wearing my girl jeans :( Let me know if you find some good ones!

I agree re: boys husky, it's what I did. Some of the young men's sizes XL and XXL (16-20 might work). Only I dislike is the depth of the pockets.

When you say "where" one can shop for jeans - I assume you mean a store or website?

Remember that not all of us here live in the same country, so you should be more specific.

I have gone to the thrift store but I think buying pants there is a bit difficult. I have been buying them now at Blair.com, which is for the US and Canada I would suppose. They are in PA. The thing I like is that they have waists between 30 and 48" and inseams as short as 28". They also have stuff like elastic and hidden elastic waists bands. Very nice if you don't fit conventional pants as well. Men's pants are sized by the waist and inseam (length of the leg from the crotch to the ankle).

Yeah i found that im about a 42 in mens size.. but i am also really short.. so i always gotta spend the extra 12 bucks to get them hemmed. which sucks. and shorts are my nemesis.. i bought a pair of cargo shorts and they were so long i guess ill have to just hem my shorts too..what a pain in the ass..i also have hard time with shirts.. bc i have a huge chest.. hopefully i will be able to fix that soon.

We're close in height and weight. I'm 5'3 145lbs and wear anywhere from a 30-32 waist and 30 inseam. You should be able to find these sizes in just about any store.

Go on underworks and look to the right side of the binder you want, it'll tell you what size it will fit. You'll need to measure your chest in inches with a fabric tape measure.

From the top of the page:
QuoteNotes On Binders:
1. How to measure:  First take a snug measurement under the bust line with a tape measure.  Next take another measurement over
the fullest part of your chest.  Again not too tight but not too loose. Take the average of theses two measurements and apply the result to the scale provided below. Each item has a different scale based on the elasticity of the fabric used and the cut of the garment, so please pay attention to the sizing scale for each style.

Here's the sizes for a 997:
Size - fits Chest:  x-small 29-31 / Small  32-34 / Medium 35-39 / Large 40-44 / X-large 45-48
