I'm really new to this, and in the process of trying to find a therapist. Unfortunately for me, there is a dearth of therapists in the area, so I'm having to look at possible online ones too.

What should I expect? How many sessions are typically needed before starting a HRT regimen?

Thanks sisters in advance.

Everyone is different. Therapy is for the individual. In person is best. How long does it take? Months, Years; up to the person and the Therapist. It is a Journey. Enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with above. It takes as long as it takes to get your letter. I got mine in two sessions. Some chicks take a lot longer because the costs and weights of transition aren't lined up. Some need time to adjust to the mental challenges of transition. I knew one girl who had to wait two years before she got her letter. Happens.

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking I'm probably going to start next week. I can't wait to see how it goes.
