Still not losing hair, will I at this point?

Declan.

Still have really thick hair with no signs of male pattern baldness at all. My hairline masculinized slightly but not much more than it was before. Still doesn't appear to be getting thin. My father's hairline has receded, but not much. My uncles on my mother's side, on the other hand, have male pattern baldness. Might I have gotten lucky somehow? I have plenty of facial hair and hair all over my body now, which I thought had correlation with male pattern baldness, but I still have all the hair on my head.

I haven't lost hair, either and I've been on T for over a year. Pretty much the only change I've noticed is that my hair gets greasy faster than pre-T. :P It's also possible that I have actually lost hair but hadn't noticed anything because I have pretty thick hair to begin with topped with natural wavyness/curlyness.

Then again, the only male relative from my mom's side was my grandfather and he had a nice full hair till the day he passed away. I don't remember seeing any thinning at the top of his head, either.

I'm a little over a year on T and just started having noticeable hair loss in the last few months. I'm thinking I'll be bare on top in the next 5 years. There are transmen who go completely bald in two years but from what I've seen that's the extreme side. Most I have seen get the 'M' shaped hairline and it holds in that position for a good while. Of the couple of hundred or so guys I've seen or talked to online in the past decade it looks like most do eventually have some sort of hair loss at some point. I'm not sure if this is correct but I've been told that the first 5 to 7 years on T will have the most potential for fast hair loss. Most men (cis or trans) do experience some sort of hair reduction as they age though.

Don't know.  Only time will tell.

I'm 2 years in and no hair loss, so who knows.
