So i seen my GP today and thought *well im going to get up the courage and talk to her about everything, let her know about future changes and MAYBE see if she can do/help me with HRT*

So i did and she told me that *she personally couldnt help me with the HRT herself* but she told me how to go about changing future information there.
She then told me that she COULD/WOULD refer me to an Endo where she would recommend HRT for me *aka T*

As i left the doctors office,i seen this listed at the bottom of my paper work

*Trans-sexualism NOS
    Referral:Endocrinology. Evaluate and Treat.*

I hope someone can give some insight and pleeeeease tell me that this is good? -_- Aside from the fact that IF it is,i need some FAST life changes but i need to triple check my insurance to make sure its covered *last i seen hormones were covered under HRT or replacement therapy*

That counts as a letter in most states, :) and really by most i mean all lol, all depends how trans* friendly the endo is. Get copies of that letter, and advice: shop around. And most of all...........

Congrats on the start of your journey! ;)

That little referral to an endo on the rx paper that says what you mentioned above, should very well count as that letter. Butya call around if an actual letter letter is being mailed to you, and let them know when they answer u have a referral for hrt and ask if the endo does that? Start with your ins company and ask for a list of endos but dont say it is for nos transexuality, not all. Sirances cover that, and a good form from an endo will have "hypo gonadism" or such on the actual script to get ins to cover it. ;) but welcome to the club! Awwww.
