Sheila

Hi everyone, I have been gone for a while, taking some time out. I have noticed there are a few new people here. Well, to introduce myself, my name is Sheila Coats and I have on Susans, off and on for a very long time. I think about 10 years, I don't know. I'm post op (May 15, 2004) but have been female all my life, just didn't want to admit it. I'm married, legally, to my wife of 38 years. We are still very much in love and we are attached to the hip. I have two children, both out of the house and married with children of their own. I'm retired from the meat industry (35 yrs) and got bored and went to work as a school bus driver for special needs children. I have not had any problems with my trans issues either personally or with my job. I have been accepted where ever I go and I don't see it as a problem. I see me as an asset to my life and to people who are around me. I'm very conservative, not politically, and I guess live life boring as some of my friends call it. I'm very open about myself and will talk to anyone who wants to talk to me. Well, enough about me. Glad to be back.

Oh wow.

It's so great to see you back Hon.  I'm tickled pink to see you back here.  Make yourself at home, I think that you will find that comfy spot you had here. :)

Glad to see you back here, Sheila, as well as on Elder.

Once you get settled in, maybe we can tackle that Chat problem you experienced.  You really get to interact real time with the 'kids' (under age 50) and the newbies that way.

I am so glad you are back. Your contributions have been missed. There are many of us who really rely on the voice of those who have already been through the whole process. The postops really do contribute in an important way. Thanks for coming back. It's hard for me not to notice how many of our postops were here to welcome you back.

Love always,
Elizabeth
