Hello guys and dolls.
Would you rather perish from hypothermia or hyperthermia?
Hypothetical: Assuming you were going to die and had to choose one.

I would rather die of hypothermia. The very idear of hyperthermia sends chills down my spine.
How about you?

I'd toss a coin.

I have once got cold enough to not feel it any more, although not quite to hypothermia. At that stage it would have been rather relaxing and not too bad, except for the scare. Getting there wasn't too much fun, though. On the other hand, as a kid I had a couple of seriously high fevers, complete with really weird hallucinations. Getting there felt rather cold too.

Whoopee! Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but it's a long one for me.

Jeeeeez Nero! Hehe, ok, if I HAD to choose, it'd be hypothermia. I can't stand to get to hot, but too cold is bad too. I've read that dying of overexposure to cold is not too too bad because you get euphoric and can't feel anything before you die. Too morbid of a thought for a Friday morning :)

Personally I would rather be shot at the age of 97 by someone's jealous spouse.  ROFL

OK, if I have to choose, hypothermia.

you can always get warmer, that is what i've always said.  Also, i think when you die of hypothermia all you do really is fall asleep.  You don't know it is coming.

brrr chilly bunch... lol as long as your hyperthermia is excessively hot day type heat and not on fire type heat I think I'd prefer that

Neither appeals to me!  Give me a bullet to the brain or a heart attack in my sleep.  I don't want to know that it is coming!
