I'm hoping to have FFS and breast surgery in the near future.  Has anyone any advice on surgeons?  I've contacted many and found the Suporn Clinic very helpful and also Cardenas Plastic Surgery.  Has anyone any useful info about these two?  The Mexican (Cardenas) Surgery seems to be more realistic as far as my budget is concerned!

Hi Lily,

I had FFS, SRS and BA with Dr Suporn in Thailand.

Surgeons are a matter of choice, cash and location, so you do need to do your homework and research thoroughly.

I travelled from the UK to the Suporn Clinic in Chonburi and have nothing but praise for Dr Suporn , his wife Aoi and all the staff at the clinic. He is a wonderfully compasionate man, softly spoken as well as a world class surgeon.

If you wish to ask any further questions about my experiences in Thialand, feel free to PM them to me.

Thanks for the reply however I'm a bit unsure how to 'pm' ! sorry, not that computer literate!  I'm very concerned about the cost because I'm not that well off but I'm desperate to get started.  The Cardenas option is half the price and I have read that he's very good.  They all advise various things from the photos I sent them and it's become so confusing.

PM is private message, but you can't send them until you have 15 posts.

No Problem Lilly, I know a lot about Cardenas as well, I did a lot of research on him.

You can e-mail me at Buffy@susans.org, using normal e-mail, it will get to my inbox.

You will not be able to PM till roughly 15 posts I believe it is; But it seems Dennis has already said that. ;)

the yahoogroup ffs-support is a pretty good one in regards to FFS information; I would advise anyone who is considering FFS to join.

Something to consider about FFS is although HRT will not change the basic bone structure the changes on HRT are very noteworthy; The short form is a 'new nose' is best to match the 'new face'; The moral of that is somethings that are a definite 'must have' now, may not be after a time on HRT; So really, I think the best advice I can offer is take it slow, and yes I know that is not a palatable thought, but let me repeat it. TAKE IT SLOW.
