Hey y'all, I've heard from some transguys about a Dr. Hartley out in Boulder who does top surgeries. I can't seem to find any after pictures online, or anything showing his work. I also don't see anything about if sensation is regained by his patients. Does anyone here know anything about him, or had surgery with him?
Who's got two thumbs, is a FTM transsexual artist & moderate gamer who is outspoken about his opinions w/ an insatiable appetite for his enemy's shame? This guy

Well sensation, I don't think you will get back regardless of the surgeon. They are pretty much takign the nipples, resizing them and putting them somewhere else (in a more normal male position). You may or may not get feeling back in them (I mean to say skin to skin feeling). There are people who claim to get sensual/sexual feeling again. Basically I think it is a mental thing where you are telling yourself the experience is a good one and you have the feelings you used to have. You know your brain is the most important sex organ there is. I don't mean to say people are imagining it, but their brains are pretty smart.

Don't know about him. If he is close by you can go for a consult and ask to see pix. If he won't show you, then it is a really really bad red flag. You also need to chests like yours. Another huge red flag is an astronomical (say $300) consult fee. It's really advertising and should be free but I think something like $150 is not terrible.

Another thing on consult fees, inquire as to whether that cost goes towards final surgical fees if you eventually go for the surgery.  That's always a good sign.

Almost always good points from Jack :)
Another thing, there is something called an anchor procedure, where there's a bit of lead from the incision to the nipple. They actually keep the nipple attached. Maybe not the most natural looking, but that scar is narrower and might fade more. But anyway the advantage is that you retain some sensation. If that's super important to you then you should look into it. It was not to me. I also don't like the line and think I'll have a bit more trouble with scars given my age.

This person talks about this procedure: http://neutrois.me/
You can find it pretty readily I think.
