who  has heard of this  any comments about this ?... my gf had her SRS in South America  and she said  that it was the best thing she did  because she feels 100% the same as pre op  that she orgasms the same and even secretes some type of secretion  would it be sperm? lol   i know it sounds kinda crazy   but only she knows  if its true.    I would appreciate comments on this

I still have my prostate gland, and so do all but a tiny group of Post Ops, and that is the source of some ejaculate fluid when we are sexually aroused.  Years ago there was some practice of relocating the testes into the abdominal cavity, but when I did my looking for SRS, there would have to be a damn good reason to leave them behind.  I admit I did not even consider or know of anyone in South America, but you are right, the truth is her story to deal with as she sees fit.
I refuse to have a war of wits with a half armed opponent!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

I would think that if she is on hormones, even if they left a test tickle inside there wouldn't be much ejaculate.

But yeah, the testes aren't the only factor in that goopy stuff, prostate and a couple others too.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Testicle only really provides the sperm, the stuff that makes ejaculate white.  Without it it becomes clear, and on hormones it generally takes on that appearance.  The Prostate is the primary cause of the fluid itself.  I don't see how leaving a testicle inside really makes any difference at all, there's more harm than good I'd think.

I can't see any reason for leaving a testicle behind.. All I can see it doing is requiring the person to keep taking AA's..

As others have said, the only thing testicles really provide to ejaculate is sperm - the remaining portion of the fluid is provided py the prostate.

Some endos prescribe low dose testosterone to increase sex drive even for cis gendered females.

It seems to make sense to me from the sex drive standpoint, but I would never want to re masculinize after srs if I stopped taking hormones at all. And if you would like to up the sex drive a little you can always talk to your endo about T

I was thinking about it before since someone posted a link here years ago about scientists experimenting on mice with injecting genes or whatever to turn testicles into ovaries. (which aren't fertile but secrete estrogen, and also completely change all XY chromosomes into XX chromosomes) I even remember the names they gave for the genes! Dmrt1 (male) and Foxl2 (female)

But then that sounds fake and expensive and unlikely so.................

It isn't fake, and in the future it might actually be likely.  I think the main problem is, things that work on mice might not be relative to things that would work with humans, we don't even know if we can successfully shift genders through those means.

I think there are also a lot of complications, cancerous ones, that are caused by that same procedure.  There is probably still research and studies going on relative to that, but there is no known way to change human sex organs through genes yet.

A more probable scenario would be successful transitions through bio printing.

Hi,

This gets into my side of things intersex some are born with them up and have not drop'ed down into the postion as they should  or only one because of deformity, the issue is cancer can be a major issue,  though  other issue's is HRT would or could compound other issues,  so looking at it in the true light of day,  more info is needed and why if this was done was the reason for it,

i smell a rat here,  because for full surgery it would need a very good reason to go away from whats normaly done and with out other issues being added in, another reason is the person intersexed, or other surgerys performed, before, deformitys , or other. more info needed.

...noeleena...

I wonder if it was left in so that having children later might be possible ?

or so that they don't have to take hormones and not loose bone density ?
