I bow my head,
and I remember.
We are hated and misunderstood....and it is not pretty. The only way it will change for us is to stand tall and proud and change it reality.
I remember............

On this kind of day
I hope that we could all put aside our differences
And say resolutely
NO MORE!!!!
Silence is death. Speak Out!

I pause for a few minutes to think of all of those who died before treatment was available, those who held on for as long as they could without resolution. Many of those who did not make it were the ones who stepped out in the public eye to raise awareness of a need that was unrecognized.
If it were not for those individuals,I would not be here today and things would not have changed.

To those who lit the path before us.
We remember you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have raised my glass many times today to remember those who went before and those who are now gone. I wish to thank Christine Jorgenson for being out there for all to see and thus raise awareness of Transexuals and TG's and the problems we face.

Amen to that Csssandra. She really is the first on we should thank. She was the first on to HAve SRS, and now its easier for us, not easy ,but, easier. And to that I thank her.

Actually she was not the first to have SRS but she was the first to become a public figure after having had SRS.
