Hi everyone! x I'm new here and I decided to join to get some tips on how to cover or completely shave/get rid of my five o'clock shadow.

I don't identify as a transgender, I am an androgynous male who likes to express my masculine and feminine sides in my physical appearance. I don't really want to label it but if I have to, yeah, it's androgyny. I dress to how I feel on that particular day and don't feel like the way you present yourself physically has anything to do with your gender. But anyway!

As you see here, my five o'clock shadow is very apparent, and on the days where I like to wear make up, I don't wan my five o' clock shadow showing. Is there a shaving technique or something I could use to completely get rid of it? Or some kind of concealer trick that doesn't require me to like pack on a pound of make up? Thanks so much everyone! xoxoxox

There are tons of Youtube videos that will help you, but a trick that I've read works (haven't really used it myself) is to put orange lipstick around the place you want to hide, spread it out good so it won't be noticiable then foundation and conceiler and everything else on top, but the first thing is the orange lipstick. I think it has something to do with orange being the complementary color to blue (the beard shadow usually looks blue-ish or green-ish), so it cancels it out.

Yeah, I noticed that MAC had an orange concealer and I had no idea why it was so orange but it makes sense now lol. To cancel out darkness.

Thank you guys for helping, can't wait to try this out.
