Hi hi my name is Hayley.
I am a 27 year old MtF. I started HRT 3 and a half months ago.
It has been roughly a year since I've decided I needed to transition.
I am taking it slow still presenting as male most of the time.
Working slowly towards my goal instead of diving head first in.
As I am still not entirely comfortable with presenting female.
Which I believe is more to do with my awful social phobias than anything.
I'm not comfortable in public settings in general.
That being said my super awesome wife (Tiffols) is really supportive, she is on these boards also in the SO section.
I'm scared and excited at the same time as life is moving in the direction I want.
I look forward to the journey, both the highs and the lows. As well as my time here.

Welcome, Hayley.  You have found what is, to me, the friendliest and warmest corner of the Internet, especially for trans people.  A lot of us are on the same journey, nearly all of us in different stages along the way.  I hope you find as much help, hope, and love here as I have.

Thank you for the replies. I lurked for quite a while before having the nerve to join. From what I've read everyone here seems very nice. Which in my experience is a breath of fresh air on the internet. There does seem to be a family feel here. I look forward to getting to know some of you.
