I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a thread where we outline what we do best professionally that might be a resource if others needs advice, information, etc. Perhaps let's try to stick to a general format, and folks who need guidance on a particular topic can contact you via PM.
I suggest including the following: 1) Trade & years of experience; 2) primary job function; 3) technology, software, etc, that you're accustomed to working with; 4) any particular knowledge set that you might be able to give advice about.
I would caution against offering legal or medical advice--if you can give general advice, be sure to note it thus & offer a disclaimer. Also, please remember that this is the internet, and if you provide any information that leads others to guess your location or other personal information, you do so at your own risk--this is general info only & I personally see no reason to reveal your company's name or city, etc. Do not reveal any information, statistics, etc, that your company considers or might consider confidential & proprietary or that might otherwise go against company policy, or Local, State or Federal law.
