We had one day of warm weather and I took the opportunity to wear a skirt with stockings to work for the first time.

It's wonderful.

People who've followed my story know it's characteristic of my non-binary gender that I have trouble "feeling like a woman" no matter how desperately I want to be one.

The skirt helps. When I look down, and see my stockinged legs and chic boots and feel how my legs rub together, I feel deliciously feminine and deliciously sexy (not really how I want to feel at work, but I'll take it when I can get it). Alas, weather is predicted below freezing tonight so can't repeat it tomorrow, but I'm savoring it as much as I can.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Hehe - I used the cop out method yesterday - ultrawide pants that totally look like a skirt most of the time but no chafing at all. It was weird though - people dont know me in a skirt so I got comments all over the place. That made me a bit feel odd. Reminded me of the time when I transitioned and people tried to encourage me to dress more feminine in an attempt to boost my confidence in presenting fully female. It was a sure sign that I did not pass back then if women told me that it looks good on me if I wear a skirt and that I should do it more often. Nowadays I dont think it is that anymore really but I am reminded of it.

Holy Clothing is a company that originated to create Ren Fest costumes but found that many of their best sellers were being worn by people out and about casually.

I currently have a few of their dresses and plan to get more. I love the ones I have so far. They also have some awesome tops, and some very interesting pants designs (loose flowing types that can be mistaken for skirts depending on perspective).

I highly recommend them.

Wow! very nice clothing indeed...thanks!

PS I send them an email requesting smaller sizes...I am a medium in dresses...size 8 or 10

oh suzyfrommd... how lucky you are to wear a skirt, hose and boots to work! how i wish i could do that... reading your post, i understand it isn't your number 1 choice of dress but it sure is, or would be for me. if i ever decide to go full time, i can't imagine not wearing skirts, hose and heels or boots to work or anywhere else all the time. i am sure it might get stale after a while but the feeling of femininity you describe is heavenly :)
