Here is my situation.  Soon, God forbid I have anything wrong show up in my bloodwork, I will starting back on hormones.

As it were, I have always had a 'soft' male body, borderline androgynous.  I slightly have girly hips and tiny bewbs, a holdover from my HRT stint almost five years ago.

What I want to do is show off my body (I am blessed with a nice booty) at work.  I am balding and have not resolved the hair issue yet (meds or wigs), so I have to keep in mind that I am not currently going to look like a girl.  I want to be able to show off my ass(ets).  What sorts of jeans do you suggest I wear?  Would skinny jeans look okay with steel toed boots?  Would they get me into trouble(not that it's always a bad thing, lol)?

I was bending way over to stick a part into the far side of a cnc machine yesterday and caught the boss sneaking a peek at my backside, a grin on his face.  He probably wishes I was a cnc machine.
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

Boot cut jeans with a rounded booty are always great. They're flattering and show off what curves you do have, without revealing what you don't want to reveal, if you catch my drift. Something with a bit of stretch, but not too much.

Hair - if you can afford it, human hair wigs are always the best, nevermind what people say about kanekelon (sp?)
HRT may help you grow some hair back, or you could try other routes, but it sounds like you have a good framework for starting back out, so if you got it, flaunt it :)

That profile pic of your's is very pretty, Kelsie.     If I end up looking half that good I will be happy.  There are some days where I just wish I worked for an employer who had no problem whatsoever with someone in a wig and wearing modest women's clothing, some mascara and lip gloss, and a five o'clock shadow.  The rest of the transitiong process would seem like a piece of cake...maybe.   ;D I'll have to check out those jeans..

So far I've only been shopping at WalMart.  Where would I go to find a pair of jeans like that?

I'm afraid, with working all those guys at my place of employment, that a pair of jeans like that would be more of a distraction for me than for them.

They'd probably be saying "what the.....?" after seeing me rub my hands all over my legs and butt, and I'd be thinking of the things they want to do with me.   :D

If there's one thing the internet is full of (besides porn), it's fashion advice for cis women with "figure flaws." :) You can Google for "flattering my butt" and "how to accent small boobs," etc. Fashion magazines are good, too.

Personally, I found that early on with small breasts the best style of top had a V-neck with a bit of ruffles or gathering near it; makes the most of what's there, and provides an optical illusion of more. Something like this : http://ak1.ostkcdn.com/images/products/5036065/P12914747.jpg except not plus-size. It draws the eye to the bust area, and away from shoulders and waist. If you don't have much of a waist, also look for something called "empire waist" - it has the "waistline" of the top/dress right under the bustline, which makes it look as if it's the *outfit* and not your figure that lacks a narrow waist.

For jeans, I hear pockets centered on the butt will also attract the eye, and make the butt look rounder.

What type of shirt is that?  Is it just called a v-neck?  I'm used to reading technical document, but I'd rather not read a how-to on fashion.  I'd wear that in a heartbeat.  Purple is my favorite color.

For small breasts, a top that crosses over under the bust is great - and a v-neck one is even better.

I think it's just called a V-neck, but that's an example of what I meant :  a V-neck top that also has some sort of gathers/ruffles to accent the bust. I have about a dozen shirts like that, and purple's my favorite color, too. :)
