I may have missed the boat, but I can't really list my favorite Horror Movies lol. Seen waaay too many...that said, Trick 'r Treat is great. Took a second viewing to piece everything together but hey. Plus Sam is pretty adorable for a little demon <3

Can watch scary movies and horror year round.

Michael Dougherty who wrote X2 and Superman Returns did a great job writing and directing it. IMDB shows TrT 2 in 2015 maybe. He had much trouble getting TrT originally out to distribution, like many films. I think they ended up direct to video for the most part. This definitely is high quality despite the trouble backing the film.

Hesitantly I watched The Conjuring. From James Wan creator of Saw (original of course) and Insidious, the movie gave me concern of another "ghost or demon possessed" film. I normally give those films a middle rating. I think this movie had more depth, considering it was based more on someone's account and book. Another Ed and Lorraine Warren demonology film, like Amityville and The Haunting in Connecticut. I liked it.
