I think the best thing you can do is arrange an appointment with Keith Altman and one with Dr Bart in London and decide between the pair. Keith holds consultations in Brighton, but also holds them on a Saturday (which suited me) at a hospital just a couple of miles from Gatwick Airport.
Dr Bart holds his in London near Canary Wharf. I saw them both and Brian Musgrove in Manchester. I didn't like Musgrove for a number of reasons. I was going to go with Altman until I met Dr Bart who was my choice and I had my FFS last April. No regrets. He did an excellent job. A very good friend of mine had hers done with Keith Altman and he did a very good job on her.
Only you can decide. Dr Bart's website is a knockout and his work is brilliant. The actual surgery worked out cheaper than either of the other two, even when you add on the cost of flights and accommodation.
Keith Altman's website doesn't even mention FFS (or didn't when I last looked) and I only found out about him after seeing him at work doing FFS on TV's Embarrassing Bodies.
Keith Altman showed me some before and afters on his iPad, but I couldn't compare them side by side and he flicked through them so quickly I wasn't sure if I was seeing a before or after!
Dr Bart is very cool and his before and afters on his website just blew me away.
