I found the Fashion section!
I was thinking about my lack of girlie shoes. I had purged about a year ago and trashed my collection of about 4 pair. Not a good thing.
I am not rich, so as I build up a new collection I want to be really careful about what I buy. I think we are all tempted to get really sexy strappy high heels that have 4 inch heels. I'm a tall gal so that just is not practical for me. Well maybe one nice pair would be forgivable. About 6 months ago I bought a pair of Crocs. These are not the clunky kind. They are flat but look elegant and sexy and they're comfy. This is a pair that I will never trash because they are perfect for me. A perfect pair of shoes is a simple pleasure for a woman like me. This post is about finding the right pair of shoes. So these Crocs are practical, comfortable, elegant, and sexy. I got the brown color. I'll try to attach a link. (I wear a size 11 which limits my choices a bit)

Pyou should have mentioned this 2 weeks ago, during Payless' boot sale. I got a cute pair of ankle boots for $20. Now they're $30, and not avalible in black, just burgundy and grey.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Thanks for thinking of me. I'll probably be buying more clothing early next year. We'll see. Your little black shoe booties look good!

As my 4-inch strappy sandals purchased at payless shoes about 10 years ago were worn out, I bought a new pair about two months ago when I visited Canada. It was from the same payless shoes, and is for summer. I tried it at home, and it gave the same comfy feeling, despite 4-5 inch heels. The brand name is Fioni.

Those do look cute! I might be too tall for those. Maybe I'll just wear them around the house! :) For me the trick is to find lower heels that look cute and good for my upcoming transition.

I bought 3 pairs of boots during that sale! :D

Yeah, the 4 inch heels.... They do look sexy but after spending time in them (and I admit that my 16 year old inner self is really drawn to them) I discovered that they are not practical for everyday living. I respect the women that I see enduring the pain to look good in them though. Guys just have no idea what women have to endure with shoes and pain for the sake of fashion.

My favorite and most comfortable shoes that I have right now are some wedge sandals. They have a 3" heel, and the wide wedge heel has great stability.

I dunno, my 3" booties are versatile; I can wear them with formal dresses, or informal jeans. Unfortunately, they were the only pair I bought during the sale. I need more! :P

Ooh, those are nice!
I just need more shoes. I'm owed some cash and am trying to sell a few things. Shoe money!

I have a serious problem with shoes...
Just recently I found these: http://stylebypatty.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/IMG_01501.jpg on sale in my size. I love em so much, I started drooling but i had to wait to buy em. when i came back they were gone! D;
I will eventually get a pair (prob 2nd hand) but what a bummer. #firstworldproblems
"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows..." — Audrey Hepburn
