So i got in touch with my local LGBT center(norfolk,va) and the recommended a doctor in Va Beach.  Dr. Joseph Forestiere, The LGBT center said they recommend him all the time for trans people. He's an Internest and GP and i guess hes got alot of experience with hormones.  He uses a combined informed consent/therapist letter for verification.  They told me he will let me informed consent up front, but will expect a letter from a therapist sooner or later.
Has anyone seen this guy? Are there pitfalls going this route?  Know how good of results he gets?  Im seriously desperate anymore, so im happy with anything i can get, im just curious.

I never saw his name on any lists, and surprisingly i havent seen a list of doctors here on susans either.  Shouldnt there be a list somewhere of doctors/surgeons?  It was a seriously a nightmare trying to get in touch with anyone who could help me.  Thought id share this with you guys though.  Anyone living in the healthcare deadzone that is northern north carolina would certainly appreciate some closer options.
