Well I did it. She forwarded it right to my dad, thinking it was malicious and someone hijacked my email. He called me about it, I said yes, it was true. He said it was a surprise, but he still loves me as a son (pause) or daughter. And he only used my name once with me, other than that, it was my birthname. I assume that was all because it's all new to him, but it still hurt a little, but some hurt in all this was expected.

Had a visit to the hospital last night due to having two seizures in quick succession after 12 years of none. Now I can't drive until I see my neurologist and feel like I was hit by a truck.

I am a little worried.   I'm off this week because I'm supposed to be transferred into a new position at my job.  It's a better position and all, but hr is taking it's time and I have to wait until I get cleared to start.  I'm getting worried that it may be more than a week like I originally thought.  Oh well, even if it's a month wait, I'll survive.  Sucks about the money but a break isnt bad.  Besides, my boss gave me assurance that the job is mine and no one else will have it.  I guess I should call.  It's just after a long run in with unemployment I'm terrified of any remote possibility of having to go through with that again.  Eh.....
