I'd share an image, but I can't attach the picture for some reason. It seems I have no idea how to attach something that is saved locally without a link. In any event, he was okay after some time. He fell asleep in my arms! It was so cute!
It's my mom's boyfriend's dog, so I watch him a lot. It's nice, but it makes me miss my Mr. Shadow (the most adorable doggie ever). Now I'm missing my big little puppy today.
I'll be okay though.
Eh, I still haven't received an update on my job status. I suppose I'll have to wait until after this week because of all the holidays. To be honest, I expected that I'd have a month hiatus, but the whole hiring freeze right in time for my transfer/promotion and the need for the CFO's approval is making me worry. Hopefully I'll be okay because the position I am to fill is really necessary for the practice I work for and they can't realistically cut our staff at this time. We are getting a whole other practitioner to work with us. We have 5 doctors (sort of) working in the practice, so it's insanely busy and the work is only going to increase. They really can't afford to downsize the staff and remove the position I'm going to fill. Plus, my office manager is pulling for me, but the company lost a lot of money from the ACA and they are really trying to cut costs wherever they can justify it. Therefore, I really have no idea what will happen. Freaking out big time! Maybe I'll grow a money tree, lol.
