For the last 2 weeks I have been using a generic spiro ( I dont think the rules allow me to post dosage so I apologize if this sounds vague,) vs my usual horse pills. Simply because of the  cost savings. Since the generic is smaller than my usual pills I have to take more of them to match my prescribed dosage.

what I dont understand is why my prescription was changed also to take it all at once  vs the twice a day ive done for almost 3 years. Are generics time release?
And even though they equal the same dosage, are generics as strong as the brand name one?
my paranoia has kicked into overdrive about this.
