Seeing that im young (16) and my parents dont want to take me to a gender therapist. Which i have no other choice but to respect, what should i do? I dont know if I can wait two more years. And even If i make it two more years then I still have to wait even longer to get on hormones, then wait even longer to get surgery. Its a big deal for me. I wouldn't be thinking about all this if I wasn't serious about it. I dont know if i can withstand the trauma of the waiting game. Anyone else in the same boat?

I'd say I was in the same boat when I was in high school. 4 years of waiting and then I got to university, which helped a lot.
If you can't wait that long, try getting in touch with your school psychologist who can try to get you with a dedicated gender therapist.
Good luck to you :)
