Ooops, I think you're right  :embarrassed: :embarrassed:

Sad to admit, I get a little fuzzy on Canadian geography...

Yes, Gwynne lives in the upper reaches of Saskatchewan.  I understand she has headed south, to North Dakota, for the warm winter weather. Hehe.

I have been in Ontario and Quebec, but only those areas.  I would love to see the Canadian Rockies by train.

I once did a quick study on the petroleum geology of the Mackenzie River delta area, and also of the Norman Wells oilfield.  Get me the minerals rights!

I'm back now!

Although I live in Saskatchewan, I'm actually I transplanted Ontarian.

There is, however, at least one legit Saskie member. I'll have to PM her and prompt her to vote.

I'm not surprised at the under-representation of Quebec (due to the language issue), but am surprised at the dearth of BC votes.

Thanks for drumming up support, Gwynne.  You just mentioned Toronto in another thread - glad to see you enjoyed your stay.  It's may be cold here today but it's probably warmer than Saskatchewan right now!

Quite the adjustment from +12 the other day in TO to -40 last night in Saskatoon!

...and why exactly did I move here?

Thanks for the post Erin - you're helping your fellow Albertans feel less lonely!

I love Victoria, BC.  Does that count?

I might have to accept that because the voting total kinda fell short of my expectations. ;)  That and the fact that everywhere but Ontario is severely under-represented.  If this and the USA poll were statistically valid surveys then Ontario would be the trans hot-spot of North America!  There are plenty here, especially in Toronto, but I'm not so sure we have the most.

I get a few now and then in the US poll, may be a few years before there's enough to say much about trends...

Perhaps we need to Rock The Vote? (http://rockthevote.com/)  BTW, check out the crazy platform shoes rendered in the rolling banner on that site right now!  That's mostly why I bothered to post that link. ;D

Your poll says there are 13 in Ontario But where LOL

Maybe later on I'll start another thread for Ontario specifically.  It seems to be the trans hotbed of Canada!

It makes sense. Out west we're taught that Ontario is the Cener of the Universe.  ;)

There is no, 'One True Way'.

Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.

Checking in from "Wet-coast" Vancouver area!

While not of First Nations decent I have been very close with FN groups in my area and my heart dances with the drums. (You have to have a really GOOD reason to get me away from the dance circle.)

First from Newfoundland to vote :)

Doesn't surprise me really. I don't think the transgender community here is very big. The LGBT community in general here is pretty small.
