Jane's Sweet Refrain

I'm coming up on 16 months of hrt and will be seeing my providing physician this Friday. My breast growth is present but modest. My estradiol levels have hovered around 175 for the past year. My testosterone is _below_ the normal range for cisgender women. Currently, I'm am below the dose she normally prescribes to her patients. I'm 45, 5'8' and 140.

My question is whether it would be worth it to try to raise my estradiol levels in the hope that there might be more breast growth. I want to do everything I can to help the girls along without doing anything risky for my health. I'd appreciate any input from my more experienced (or more endowed) sisters.

Hi Jane,

First question I'd ask is; why am I on a lower dosage by comparison? Question 2. I'd like more breast growth. What changes are you going to make?

I'm not sure how our reference level systems translate, however my E levels range between 1600 & 2000+ pmol/L which I think may be substantially higher than 175 whatever's.

This is a direct result from the Endo both I and many Sydneyites use for HT, for which he generally recommends both Progesterone and Estrogen implants. ( I think I'm allowed to mention this as its a licences practitioner doing the recommendation)

You may wish to discuss with your physician, alternative delivery methods to improve effectiveness.

Hope your meeting goes well
