I'm off to a Christmas party at a club a short distance away. It was organized by a very large and active group of transwomen in the east bay area, and I'm anxious to see if I know any of the girls who show up. I was told there may be 50 attending the no-host party, but I'm not sure any of my friends can be there.
I've bought a gift for a grab bag exchange, and my best skirt and top are laying on the bed ready to wear. Now I'm getting nervous. I'm not a real social person, and I always worry for no reason. Gotta suck it up and do my makeup, finish my hair, and paint my nails. ..... Hell I only have an hour for all that.
