Well I'm rather interested in bdsm and would love to be able to talk to and possibly meet people. I'm unsure where I can go here in the internet. I'm kind of nervous too being a submissive trans girl, I'm scared to be hurt by someone who has ill intent. Does anyone here have experience that I could talk to and show me where ican go?

Both my wife and I been in the BDSM scene for over 8 years now. There are many transgender individuals in the scene and are greatly accepted. (There are always exceptions.) The best way to to get into your local scene is to find a munch group. This is basically kinky people getting together for food in a semi-public environment (usually a restaurant) for like minded people to get together and just meet and talk. (Usually no play.) Fetlife ( http://www.fetlife.com ) is an excellent resource as it is basically like Facebook for the kink community. Once you setup an account you can find local events in your area. Some play parties are queer oriented (but open to all) depending on your area.

Once you start playing, you want to ALWAYS and ONLY play in a public dungeon with safe words (red meaning to stop is the most common.) In a dungeon, there is a DM (dungeon monitor) that ensures that when you call the safe word, the play stops. Think of them as a safety net.

Fetlife is a good venue and some of the people in the alt lifestyle scene are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet who will bend over backwards for others. And then, like in life, some aren't. Someone mentioned munches...those are great places to meet others in a "vanilla" environment. Most urban areas have a group on fetlife and some even have a group just for dom(me)s and subs. In fact, where I'm from, there is even a monthly meeting for submissives.

Also, like others have said, the alt lifestyle community is VERY TG friendly.

Just DON'T meet someone in private for the first time and if someone wants to do something you feel uncomfortable with, you have a right (even as a submissive) to say "no." A REAL Dom(me) will respect your boundaries.

You should be fine on Fetlife I've made a few new friends there, but my best long term dungeon play mate I met on good old TvChix.com I think about eight years ago. I also joined Alt.com but there just in it for the money, however I did meet one long tern friend there. If you should want to look me up on Fetlife, just drop the Mx off my name and tag on Jayne.
