I am Rachel - a Dorset girl at heart, who is about to turn 40.
Lived in Spain, Gibraltar, Malta and Canada, Now living with my fiancé in lovely Cardiff.  Getting married next September.

I am a total Geek and absolute cat slave.  I have two beautiful Bengals.  I am a bit shy in person, but online I am pretty open with my opinions and love to help wherever I can.

I transitioned back in 2003, and following my op in 2005, have been mostly happy ever since.  I am not 'stealth' but I don't shout it from the rooftops either.  I have this approach that if someone asks, then I tell them.  Not many horror stories because of this so far.

Am now a student (and housewife I guess lol), having given up work in January to have a lung removed due to the nasty old cancer.  Am 100% free of it now, and to find the silver lining; it was while bed-bound in recovery that I met my soon to be Husband.

Thats me for now.

Welcome to our little family. Over 8967 members. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Thanks for the warm welcome.  I have to say I have not been an active member of any TG online communities since I had my op.  I don't really know why, but I seemed to just drift away.

I guess I felt I was done and dusted, of course now I realise that may never be the case.

A friend linked me here with reference to the voice app recorder thingy.  I have downloaded and am going to try it.

I left out voice therapy as I do get by most of the time (and many guys have commented on how sexy a husky voice I have).  I am still rather insecure about the way I sound.  Having maintained my 'proper english' way of speaking helps.

Anyhows now I am to be married I am going to fiddle with the voice and see what I can do to realise my potential :)

- I shall be asking questions galore I think (I have a few ongoing things that perhaps here is a good place to seek answers)  - after all there are not many other areas on the net where one can discuss things like facial hair and dilation lol

see y'alls
